Plan in Action

We put a plan in action,
And rid ourselves of distraction,
One big step forward to a higher satisfaction,
And a work-life goal that would complete the fraction.

Out of our hands and into the team,
Starting out bending like the little stream,
To hopefully gain momentum, bursting the seam,
Till vivid and alive, inserted now is our dream.

What will the day hold at next week’s end,
A lot will be decided, and decisions will depend,
Much on the choice, of those newly acquainted friends,
Right now the only hope we have is to pretend.

It’s nerve racking, but I know we put together our best,
Presentation to accomplish the goals at our crest,
Giving the opportunity we will thrive passing our own test,
But the simple word “no” could lay all of the thoughts to rest.

There is no option, it will be told,
That our new positions will soon unfold,
Our idea is in action, and was perfectly sold,
Good thing we are strong and our ideas are bold.
