The Poem Touching One Million

What would you say if one million people would listen?
“Thank You.”
Thank you for your gracious time, your thoughts, your joy, your care, thank you for your kindness, your assistance, and inclusion in your prayers.
Though our eyes may never meet, our hands may never shake, a part of you will be carried on with me, through every friendship that I make.
If politicians can raise millions of dollars, from millions of believers who applause, why can’t we do the same for each other, raising millions for our own cause?
I am reaching out, I am a son, a father, a husband, a brother, with a dream of writing poetry, that will connect us with one another.
After you read this poem today or night, reach out to someone you know, and tell them how they’ve helped you in life, to learn, to love, to grow.
Share with them the moment, make them part of your journey, your team, that supports you as you inspire and set out, to achieve your greatest dream.
If I can touch one million, imagine what the one million people who read this can do, but don’t just imagine it, live it, because it has to start with you.
What would I say if I knew I would be Touching One Million?

The Goal: Write one poem that will have a positive effect on one million peoples’ lives and generate one million dollars.
The Realization: By doing what you love you can achieve your greatest dreams.
The Dream: Be a successful modern day poet that inspires, touches, and enriches peoples’ lives daily.
After Goal Completion: Write and publish a poetry book that will feature the Touching One Million poem and give 100% of the proceeds to charity.
